Today, we’re excited to share an important step forward in strengthening that trust: we’ve officially begun the process of undergoing a SOC 2 Type I and Type II compliance audit.
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is a widely recognized framework for managing and protecting data based on five key principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. By pursuing both Type I and Type II audits, we’re committing not only to having the right systems and controls in place, but also to demonstrating that they work consistently over time.
In plain terms: we’re putting structure, documentation, and third-party validation behind the care we’ve always taken with your information.
This effort reflects something simple but important about who we are: we don’t take shortcuts when it comes to doing the right thing—we grow thoughtfully. That means investing in processes that keep information safe, being transparent about how we operate, and holding ourselves accountable to high standards, even when no one is asking us to.
The SOC 2 process is thorough by design. Over the coming months, we’ll be working closely with independent auditors to review our systems, policies, and day-to-day practices. It’s a collaborative and sometimes rigorous process—but one we welcome. It helps us sharpen what we do, identify areas to improve, and build an even stronger foundation for the future.
